So todays card is a video which was created using one of my new favorite cartridges April Showers!!  I hope you enjoy!

Guest Designer with Crafting with Cristina

I am so very excited today to be featured over at http://www.craftingwithcristina.com/ as one of her many fabulous guest designers.  The challenge over on her blog is a color challenge using the colors orange, hot pink and white.  Not typical colors that I often use so I really had to put my thinking cap on and I am happy with the way it turned out.  What do you think?  Cute?

My new found purchase of flocking was used for most of this project.  Along with chipboard, a peachy keen face which I must add when the card opens the face is on the inside of the card, ribbon, PP is from my stash which I believe is basic grey.  The leaves are from recollection which I have sprayed with glimmer mist.  Of course the card could not be complete without using my white gel pen!

Thank you again Cristina for having me join in on the fun!

Happy Valentines Day

Well today is the official day of LOVE!!  I wish you all a Happy Valentines Day!

I would also like to thank all my new followers and for the wonderful comments.  Jillian from The Princess and the Paper's blog hop was a great success, can you believe she is only 12 and already has her own stamp line, very driven young lady!  I have 2 orders of business today my project for the day and to pick the lucky winner of the blog hop!

This is a super easy Valentines Day Craft if you are handing out goodies in large groups whether it be for your children's class, co-workers or even family members.  I am sure you have all seen bag toppers!

I used the snow cuties face from Peachy Keen and the stamp set Even More Punny-Liscious from My Pink Stamper.  The heart was punches with a stampin up punch and of course my white gel pen.  Told yah it was easy peasy!  I wonder who is going to get these treats?

Onto the blog candy!  I used random.org to select the winner and the lucky person is #6

Thanks for sharing Wendy, the frame is gorgeous :), i check your blog everyday to see what you come up with :)

Thank You Card

Hi bloggy friends, it's finally Friday.  I treated myself and toke the day off and scheduled to have a massage!  Oh, I can't wait!

Todays card I will be submitting for a few challenges this past week.  Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge which was to create a project using Everyday Paper Dolls or Dress Up Cartridge and heat or dry emboss.  The other is over at Scrappy Mom's Terrific Tuesday Challenge which was to create a project using the Sweethearts Cartrige.  I have done both!

My mother in law has been in hospital for the last couple of weeks and due to be discharged hopefully today.  She has been very happy with the overall care that she has received and wanted to show the doctors just how much she appreciates them by giving them a gift card for coffee.  Of course I volunteered to make the cards and I am so happy that I did.  They were alot of work but think they turned out terrific!  She asked that I make three of them.  Now I cannot take credit for the design of this card as I was truly inspired by ScrappinJen31 over on You Tube.  Thank you so much for the inspiration!  I really enjoy your work!

I used the Sweetheart Cartridge for the tag on the card.  Swiss dots and Square lattice embossing folders.  White gel pen, Bakers Twine, Stickles, Black Magic Glitter Mist, Chalk, Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set, Happy Lashes and Everyday Character Peachy Keen Stamps, Stormy Sky and Pummice Stone Distressing Ink.  Dolls were cut out from Everyday Paper Dolls using my gypsy at 3.47'.

I hope the docs enjoy them!

Happy New Year to all my family, friends and fellow crafters!  Wishing you all the very best for 2011!
Today's project was made using the Tags, Bags and Boxes which was a free download for me for having a gypsy (the box was cut at 5.5' and I was able to get 2 on a 12x12 mat) , Scrappy Mom's Winter Wishes Clear Stamp Set and a stinkin cute FREE Peachy Keen snowman stamp that I received when I placed an order over the holidays! I used Stampin markers to color in my little snowman along with some stickles, we musn't forget the bling factor!
I made each one of my Christmas Dinner Guest, 16 in total some Snowman Soup to take home with them!  I love how they turned out.  For those that are not familiar snowman soup consists of a package of hot cocoa, some marshmellows, a candy cane and a few hersey kisses along with a cute poem of choice.

I will be back a little later to announce the line up for Ashley's Birthday Blog Hop on Tuesday so be sure to check back!

Tootles!
