It's funny how fast the weekends just fly by, I sure do wish they were longer sometimes! But you are here to see a project not to hear me complain!
For today's card I used the stamp Dads, Dad from Mr. Cricut Crazy and I must tell you when it comes time to Tanner's stamps you must think outside the box as there are so many possibilities. The sentiment that I choose was "Your Too Cool" and hopefully you will understand the concept behind my using it after seeing my card!!
To create this card I used the MS punch, spellbinders die, SU punch and Jolly Holidays cricut cartridge for the snowman hence the sentiment snowmen are "cool". I used a peachy keen stamp for the face, brads for the buttons, twine for the trim of HER hat, copic blush marker for the cheeks and liquid pearls for the blades of the skates. I adhered a couple of pearls to the sentiment punch and used my white gel pen around the spellbinders die.
Too cute heh!! Be sure to come back a little later to see my Halloween post!!
Good morning everyone! Today I will be busy getting ready for my Halloween Party! Exciting! | have another home decor project for you which I cannot take credit for Nancy over on YT was my inspiration for this one! Thanks Nancy!
I used a piece of chipboard for the base and a paper mache cone for the hat. I purchased an assortment of floral from Michaels and of course just had to add I Am Roses to my project. I used Lindy's to spray a tint of purple glitz to the hat and voila, perfecto!! I love it and will be keeping it around for a few years to come.
Enjoy the rest of your day and will see you back here tomorrow!

Hello my crafty friends! Today's post is a video of a swap that I took part in with a friend over on YT. This mini album is one that I received and have not made. She hasn't received hers yet so don't want to give away on surprises! Enjoy!
Good morning Monday! Well over the course of the weekend I managed to clean up the disaster in my craft room of Fridays events. What a mess but having said that it gave me the opportunity to organize and purge. I just might have to do another room tour video!
To go along with my Halloween countdown I have another home decor project for you. With all the hype with banners I had to try one for myself! I am happy with the way it turned considering it is my first one.
I have used the birthday bash cricut cartridge for the banner which was cut with chipboard at 6' and covered with patterned paper on both sides of banner. The Art Philosophy cartridge was used to cut the scallop circle and circle at 4.25' and 3.25'. I also embossed the circles with the swiss dots embossing folder. The letters were cut with the Birthday Bash Cartridge at 2.75'. The Happy Hauntings Cartridge was used to cut the shoe at 2.25' and the hat at 2.25'. I have also used the Martha Stewart leaf, bat and spider punches. Black tulle was used to tie the banner together.
I have also included a picture of some of my previous home decor projects on display in my home.
Thank you for stopping by and will see you back here tomorrow!
Sorry ladies I am sorry that I won't have a post for you today. When I went home at lunch I found my craft room turned upside down. One of my shelving units which hold all my scrapbooking albums, cricut cartridges and some other crafting supplies I have come tumbling down and had left my room in a disaster. Broken glass, broken albums and I am not sure what else I will find. I closed the door behind me and headed back to work so you can all imagine what I will be doing all night tonight. I am so not happy. The wooden braces holding up the shelving unit split with the woograin. Wish me luck!!
Hi everyone! I hope your week has been going well!
I have another super simple project for you today for your home. I cannot take credit for this as I believe I did see something similar over on the cricut blog.
Love the look of this. Bought a vase from the dollar store, candle from Walmart, vinyl cut is from Happy Hauntings Cricut Cartridge and the trim around the fall foliage was bought at Michaels at 60% off. Can't get any better than that. I also made one for my mom as she loves her Halloween candles!!
Thanks for stopping by today and will see you back here tomorrow!
It's hump day which means that we are half way to the end of the work week! I am a complete hermit once the cold weather hits I tell yah!
Again, this year Iwill be hosting a Halloween party for my family! We had a blast year year as I had a pumpkin carving contest and some even came dressed up! This year it is all about the costumes!! I decided to make Halloween party invitations and I tell yah Emma from My Creative Time couldn't have come out with her Anyday Bingo and Crossword stamp set at a better time. I love it!

Hi everybody today I have what has got to be the easiest home decor project that I have made to date! A piece of patterned paper and a Michaels dollar frame!
The frame was already black and I didn't even need to paint it! The patterned paper is from one of the Recollections Specialty Packs. Told yah it was easy but love the look and the paper can be easily changed up for any other occasions and if you really wanted to add to it certainly this frame can be altered!!
Welcome back and welcome to my Halloween countdown! Can you believe it 2 posts in 1 day, making up for lost time!! In the next couple of weeks I will have cards, home decor, mini album and maybe a scrapbook page. Hopefully I will be able to inspire to help kick start your Halloween planning!
This fancy card is called a flap card which I created for a swap that I participated in! The tutorial I used to create this card can be found on splitcoaster.

Hey everyone! I hope all my Canadians friends had a Happy Thanksgiving and enjoyed their long weekend.
Todays card is totally inspired and scraplifted from http://www.kerryspapercrafts.com/ she is an amazing let alone talented crafter. She makes the cutest projects for craft fairs and if you are looking for ideas I suggest you go and check her out. Did I mention she just had a baby girl who is too cute for words!!
I was asked by a crafty friend of mine(won't mention any names!) if a few of us would be kind enough to send her mother a birthday card. Being that I live in Canada she may receive it as a Christmas Card but I sent one out anyone!!
The background was embossed using a polka dot stamp using white embossing powder. Scallop punch, Fifth Avenue Floral stamp from Stampin up and a sentiment and voila, card done!

It's Thursday and that means the long Thanksgiving weekend is right around the corner! I have a layout for you today that was actually very simple to put together. The cricut cuts were all from a cut swap and I believe they are from the Toy Story Cartridge I am not so sure about the plane.
My son went to Florida this past year with his aunt and uncle and they got some really great pictures which made this layout very easy to create!
The cardstock is from stampin up, the patterned paper is from my stash the trim if from prima. Inked around the edges and voila!! Thanks for stopping by!
I hope everyone had a great weekend. I decorated a little for Halloween. Don't little ones any more so don't over do it. The weather was beautiful although it has been a little chilly in the mornings and had to turn on my heat for the first time yesterday!
Todays card was made using Mr. Cricut Crazy's Dads, Dad and Birthday Birthday stamp set. Although fathers day has come and gone there are still many uses for this stamp set. This was a quick and easy card.
